And the Weiner scandal just gets weirder ...

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/anthony-weiners-aides-foul-mouth-attack-intern/story?id=19825363

Since we've long passed the Beavis & Butthead threshold in this thread, I chose this clip because the reporter utters the phrase "Weiner vows to stay in ..." I wonder how many takes that took for him to say that without cracking up?

"Rodham Weiner" has to have comic potential."

Especially if their first child was named "Jack."

I'm too distraught about yesterday's doubleheader sweep to engage in any Weiner whimsey today.

Why, then we must redouble our efforts to rouse you from your funk. How would this look on a supermarket tabloid cover:

"Lewinsky looks up to Huma, Weiner"

    Splendid.
How about "Hilary offers Huma handy advice for wayward Weiner?"

Ha! Now I'm wondering what joys we missed when Hilary went for Bill instead of Anthony. "Rodham Weiner" has to have comic potential.

Apparently we aren't the only ones having fun with this joke.

Every summer for Father's Day, my family gets me a DVD set of some TV series I haven't seen, but they think I'd enjoy. This year it was Season 1 of Homeland (good series, I'd highly recommend it).

In the middle of Episode 8, the news reported a scandal involving a Congressman sending lewd photos of himself over social media.

Congressman "Dick Johnson" has vowed to fight the allegations and clear his name.

Omg, this thread needs to come with a warning. I'm crying over here trying not to just howl with laughter at my desk.

That one with Randy Johnson is absolutely brilliant...
