Here's my baffler. I've been pulled over for suspicion of DUI (as some of your might know, I was out with you when it happened!).
If I've had a few beers, or went over the line, and for whatever reason of stupidity decided I could get away with driving, I'm "habitually" safer than I normally am. I don't speed, I will use my blinker, hands at 10 and 2, maintaining a 2 second or more distance.... Now, reaction wise, that's another story.
How the fuck do you get plowed and kick it up to 130-140?!?!? Dumbass.
Trying to draw some of the fire away from Roger Ebert, are we? (wink) I agree this is a decidedly unheroic way to go.
Die young and leave a broken and charred corpse, as they say. And while you at it, take some other young life with you when you go.
