"Artie, you east coast elitist."
My bank account would indicate otherwise.
Artie, you east coast elitist. My last house was about 1200 sq. ft., 3 bedroom and 1 1/2 bathrooms. When we sold the house to move into our current house, my payment was just over $600/month.

$650 a month?
The renter would be paying $1.18 a square foot per month. That would put my house at $2300 a month. I think I would take the money and move out is someone offered me that.
True. That apartment wasn't the Taj Mahal. It looked more like a self-storage facility where you'd store the stuff you really wouldn't mind not seeing again.
It just amazes me there are still places in this country where you can pay $650 a month to live.
I would never ever ever pay $650 to rent a place. I wouldnt pay over $200 a month to rent that hole in the wall. You could get a trailer on a lot to yourself for $250-$300 here.
"But no comments on "Bald Landlord"??? What the hell did that have to do with anything?"
I've seen some pretty bizarre things in classified ads, so it really didn't faze me. One of the ones we ended up turning away was from the guy who wanted to sell his wife's coffin.
Spoken like coaster who refers to everything between NYC and LA as flyover country, Artie. This country is huge, and $650/month is still quite expensive by the standards of some places.
