I enjoyed it when I was younger, but then around eight or nine I realized it was kinda foofy to watch musicals. I think I got hooked on Madden that year.

"Color me" foofy.  I could watch Brigadoon and Singing in the Rain once a week.

Once in Jakarta friends of friends came to stay for a week and the woman was so traumatized by culture shock that she stayed in our bedroom and watched Sound of Music round the clock for a week.

But, I too came around on musicals, after having first been turned off of them like TK by their goofiness, when I started listening to music that might be called jazz and I discovered that about 90% of what people think of as jazz standards are actually showtunes from shows that people have forgotten about.  How many people still watch "The Gay Divorcee"?  But you get to a certain age and you are pretty certain to know the tune, "Night and Day".

I had never watched that show until they showed it on the plane going out to Chicago last weekend. Safe to assume I haven't looked for it on the dial since.

Denise Richards was on Howard Stern last week and I'm pretty sure their kids are going to be screwed up. Their dad is addicted to hookers and their mom isn't far off from being described as a "raging slut."

Stewie tells Matthew McConaughey he sucks donkey ass.

That one is on TBS right now.

There's also a good gag where Stewie directs a pilot carrying McConaughey to make an emergency landing in the ocean.

I don't think she is. Also, I can't watch the movie without thinking of a particular "Family Guy" joke:

WIZARD: And Dorothy, you wanted herpes, but little did you know that you had them all along.

    DOROTHY: I didn't want herpes!

WIZARD: Oh. Well...you have them now.

My two favorite Family Guy moments are the Ipecac chugging contest and when Stewie tells Matthew McConaughey he sucks donkey ass.

Seriously, I had no idea.  I assume from what TK wrote that it's Judy Garland character?

Aye. I don't know if she's ever referred to by her last name in the movie.
