The Ryder Cup has a little Happy Gimour flair. The fans are allowed to be a little more boisterous and the players are certainly more demonstrative. Throw in the whole U.S. versus the world mantra and it's good stuff.
Aye. I'd usually rather watch paint dry than golf, but the Ryder Cup is good drama. And it's always fun to root against Sergio Garcia. He's a self-absorbed ass.
We really don't have another place where this belongs. Ordinarily, I don't watch much golf. I don't play the game well and find it boring to watch, but there's something about the Ryder Cup format that makes it really enjoyable to watch.
