I didn't know you could record PPV. But technology whizzing past my head is nothing new.

Most of my DVR . . . .
Another thing that came along while overseas. Just last week I learned that the "On Demand" button on my remote does not lead to things that are only pay-per-view. Haven't begun to figure out how to 'record' programs and save them.
That's going to be a tough sell to the movie studios, Max. They want to sell you the DVD for $20 rather than let you record it for $5.
It is sold to them already. That is how it works. You buy something on PPV and tape it. It isnt like you couldnt do the smae thing with a movie you rent. PPV is actually cheaper then renting if you figure in the gas it takes you to drive to the movie rental place. Another thing you do is wait till they give you HBO free for a weekend and tape the shit out of ever remotely good movie.

Go to guide and find a show you want to tape. Then hit the record button. If you are watching something you want taped just hit the record button. Pretty simple and life wouldnt be worth living without it. It is the best thing since sliced bread...on second thought I dont really like bread.

Not really. Most of those shows are stored on DVR to be watched when our kids start school in 5 years. How much DVR storage do you get? I record a 2-hour movie and mine is 50 percent full.
My oldest one got 100hrs but lighting got it. They replaced it with one that got 150hrs. Then I upgraded to free HD and that one has 400hrs. Plus you could get an external hard drive that would exdend the memory anouth 100hrs. I have no need for 500hrs of taped shows. We currentsly have like 50hrs taped. Most of that is kid shows.
Most of my DVR is taken up by Rob Drydek shows. He's a professional skateboarder who apparently gets paid a lot. The episode I'm being forced to watch right now is about the rodent problem he has in his house. Don't ask. I don't get it either.

I wouldn't have even recognized most of those as TV shows. My wife watches Blue Bloods, but I have an aversion to all things Wahlberg, so I generally do a crossword puzzle or play on the computer when I don't have control of the remote.
Blue Bloods is pretty good being that it is on network TV. I like the Wahlberg's. Mark is coming out with a boxer movie. I didnt know he was a rappers till Fors pointed it out to me.
I think it's the one on Blue Bloods who was in the boy band. The other one is Marky Mark. I have no idea what happened to the Funky Bunch.
Both of them can go funk themselves.

Not only do her shows suck but she watch reruns of them non-stop and one of them shows are run marathon style every day. She will be like, "I love this one. It is the one were they cut there hair and cry". I seem to only be able to watch TV after everyone goes to bed. She is at walmart now so I get to watch sunday night football.
