    I am listening to the Carter Family for the first time in my life, I sheepishly admit. 

    The CD is Best of the Best.  Very good, of course.  it reminds me a bit of Woody Guthrie crossed with The Weavers, which if I had never heard the Carter Family I would have thought would have sounded like The Weavers.

    Right off the first 3 or 4 listens the tunes that are catching my ear are, "Can the Circle By Unbroken", and "Lulu Walls".
