This is actually pretty amazing news from a US Soccer perspective.
Just so everyone here is aware, the US National team had never beaten the Italian national team (home or away). Klinnsman seems to be doing fairly well. Great win!
Even though Italy dominated possession and had a huge edge in shots, this was a big result for Uncle Sam today, beating the Azzurri in Genoa. Both teams brought most of the varsity, save for psychotic Mario Balotelli being left off the Italian side. But the U.S. didn't have its best midfielder, so it's a bit of a wash there.
