They used to do 'contract marriages' in Indonesia, what with all the businessmen being brought in on two-year contracts, and all the unbelievably hot Indonesian chicks making themselves available.  The woman would get a certain amount of money and material goods, and the marriage would end when the guy flew back home.  . . . you can kind of see why many Indonesians resent the hell out of the "expats".
