The Card #1 shill has an interesting story to tell. At the risk of comparing apples and oranges, it sounds like Moz is committed to DeWitt and DeWitt is committed to copying San Diego's model of success, and Albert Pujols might face a similar fate to that of Adrian Gonzalez.
I think one thing we'll get is an illustration of whether it is better to have one maestro, or have the give and take of many musicians, making the tune. The subtext of this Gordon artile is that it was the push and pull between Moz and La Russa this past season, that was instrumental in producing the final championship roster. Lose either one and we might have Tyler Greene as our starting SS, or never have witnessed the emergence of Salas, Sanchez, and Lynn.
