2011-2012 Eulogies.

COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS - Oct 7th, 2011 - Mar 11th, 2011
The first to be eliminated from playoff contention, with 13 games remaining to what has been a woefully dismal season, we must say adieu to sweet Columbus. Rick Nash was not enough to get them into postseason, but was too much for them to trade (much to Nash's ire I would imagine). The Blue Jackets can finish with 77 points, which would normally keep them alive, but two of the teams with 76 points will play each other before the season is over, and without the possibility of a tie, one will be guaranteed 2 points, bringing them to 78 and keeping Columbus out of the second season.

They have some decent talent, had some injuries, and had some personel moves just not work out for them. They'll get an early jump on the 2012-2013 season, and probably have an impressive draft pick to help them in the coming future.
