Westbrook vs. Bailey
Lineups coming as soon as they're available.

Berkman sitting with some sort of hand issue.

He's back in , says he's fine .......

This is the ugliest damn ballpark.

Oh how sweet it is.

Matt's comin' on ....

How about them apples ?

I don't think Westbrook being chubbier was the issue. Not a good start.

Thank you, Jay Bruce.

Good seats still available.

I don't know who's doing color commentary with Marty Brennaman's mentally-retarded offspring, but I think he just suggested Homer Bailey's strategy is to tire out the Cardinals by making them jog around the bases.
I had no idea stupid was contagious.

Votto and Bruce look like they're about to star in a sequel to Brokeback Mountain.

4 walks and 3 batters retired... atrocious. Cant believe its still 4-0
Don't be so negative. He's still working on a no-hitter.

These fly bll outs aren't a good sign either, but at least he threw strikes in the third.

Well, now he's on pace for a 12-walk no-hitter and a 30-win season, LOL
Which according to Danny would put him third in the Cy Young balloting behind Cueto and a 23-1 Mat Latos.

How does Furcal ... never mind.

No-no through four. There's no jinx considerations involved tonight, because Westbrook has been awful.
Offline
Why make that throw?
Offline
Why did he even attempt throw that?
Offline
This has been some turnaround by Westbrook. He went right after Votto.

If Wilbur Wood had ever thrown a no-hitter, this is what it would have looked like
Your Cliff Clavin fact o' the day is Wilbur Wood grew up in the town in which Mitt Romney now lives. No word whether they go to the same barber.

These idiots are still booing Molina because Cueto kicked Jason LaRue in the head.

After Westbrook walked 4 in the first two innings, we all had him pitching 7 innings, right?

This is one of the things that drives me crazy about Brennadork. He makes up stuff with conviction. Arredondo throws a 2-0 sinker to Holliday in the dirt and gets a swing and miss. The next pitch is an inside fastball that Holliday grounds to the shortstop. Genius says: "He comes back with the same pitch ..."
He does stuff like this ALL GAME LONG. Of course, his color guy isn't going to show him up by telling him he's wrong, but it's like he's not even paying attention.

Well. this has gotten out of hand in a hurry. Let's hope the bullpen can hold a 5-run lead.
