Pretty sad that the Missouri Tigers can outdraw the Reds for a January game against Texas Tech.
Offline
Wow, that was an enormous missed opportunity. Ouch.

This is what I mean. Yadi steps up to the plate, and Reds' color guy announces: "Molina hits into a double play 20 percent of the time."
Based on 600 PAs, that would mean Molina hits into 120 double plays.
There are no parameters. He just hits into double plays 20 percent of the time. Brennadweeb doesn't challenge him, and there's no subsequent correction.
We all make mistakes. But that was egregious. He might have just as well said "Molina has sex with farm animals," because it's just as absurd.

Wow, that's an awful screw-up.

Careful here. Leake was a good hitter in college.

AP, I don't know if you're watching, but the 2-1 pitch to Bruce at the knees that was called a strike was the pitch Westbrook wasn't getting last night.

These idiots ooh and aah when Lohse hits Cozart with a 73 mph breaking ball, with Votto in the on-deck circle.

Found FSMW on another EI channel. Dan, Al and the Cat are my salvation tonight.

WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH KYLE LOHSE?!?

What kind of ovation is David Freese going to get on Friday?
Offline
Does LeCure think he's getting paid by the hour?
Offline
Does this seem like a game that gets away because the Cardinals failed to come up with more timely hits?
Offline
Mesoraco got unlucky.
I wonder how Shannon is handling that pronunciation.
Offline
Boggs gets us thru 7, lets get a couple runs here boys ...
Offline
Yikes, not a good game from Molina.
Offline
C'mon, Duluth; you can't take THAT strike three.
Offline
I guess I can't blame the Cardinals for looking a little slow with the bats tonight. When you're playing in front of a minor league crowd you can lose focus.

Aye.

I don't know who the home plate umpire is tonight, but he hasn't missed a pitch yet. Either side.

Does anyone remember Boggs retiring six guys in a row since he went to the bullpen?
Offline
Fastballs to Rolen, please.

Oh look, another win.
Even if they lose tomorrow, the defending champions going 5-2 on the opening road trip (which is ridiculous, BTW) would be a nice middle finger.

Let's take the cheese.
