Champions:
Furcal
Beltran
Holliday
Craig
Freese
Thler
Robinson
Cruz
Lohse
It'd be no small miracle if they could win this game. The dunderheads were speculating earlier that Descalso and Robinson are on the chopping block since Berkman comes back Friday. One Dunderhead speculated that Descalso will not get sent down since he can play shortstop, but I have a hard time understanding why you need two bench players that can play shortstop, especially when Descalso can't really play the position that well.

No Gracie tonight. He must be on a date with Anna.

Luis Gonzalez is doing color. He just suggested "Berkman pretty much carried the team all of last year." I hope DeeDee Pujols isn't watching.

I should talk Robinson down more.

Furcal looking back to find the relay cost him a run.

I think he got it right, TK. Montero had his foot in front of the plate.

So ridiculous. MLB umpiring is a freaking joke.

He tagged him when Furcal's hand was on the plate, something the umpire wouldn't even be able to see.

Saw the replay. He was safe.

Shit. Only when they're trying to sweep.

Better call Oswalt.

Well that's a bummer. Hopefully Lohse locks it down.

One run on eight hits and a walk through five. And the run was a gift.

Gonzo is apparently a graduate of the Mark Grace School of Cliches. He just used "wiggled off the hook."

Regardless of what happens with Carpenter, this is the right call.

That term has become so trite it's not even used during fishing derbies anymore.

Matheny pushed the right button.

Good to see Shaw was released from the hospital after the case of whiplash he suffered Monday night.

I think there's something to McClellan being buried.

McClellan instead of Romero with two lefties leading off the inning ...

Wait what's this...in position for a sweep?!
