Heard them discussing the missed fair/foul call. Said there was a half circle in the chalk line. If I'm Oquendo, every inning when I take the field I walk over, look at the mark and wonder out loud how a foul ball could cause that mark. At least that's what I'd do until I was tossed.
It clearly splattered the paint, Fors. There was no question it was fair.

"Wasnt there another no name cardinal that threw a no hitting a few weeks after Smith?"
Jimenez. I don't rememeber his first name or his last name, and I don't remember if it was before or after Bud Smith's no-hitter, but I remember he issued something like eight or nine walks and was pitching out of jams all night long.

"Santana looked pretty awesome last night"
I'd show the tape of that game to every kid who wants to become a pitcher to let them know you don't have to blow batters away to be a good pitcher. If you keep the ball down and work the corners, you can dominate a batting order even with average velocity.

I guess I dont really remember him very well other then the fact that a Cardinals I didnt know threw a no hitter. I didnt know he was a closer for the Rockies for several years.
