It's the Jewish New Year, so I had familial obligations. I got lucky and was able to watch most of the game on MLBN at a friend's house.

That second homer he hit was a bomb. He got a cookie, though. What's up with Keniwashi or whatever his name is? He's the only Japanese pitcher I've ever seen with no movement on his fastball.

Dunno, Max... I've seen some of the things those Japanese folks do with ropes, and they can get pretty twisted (wink).

Oh yeah. I'm used to seeing that from the center field angle.
I have a few favorite memories of these Cards, and speaking of Molina, one of my very favorites is of him getting in Big Manny's face in the '04 series, much like he did to L'il Bitch. Manny couldn't have been more surprised to see this young upstart block his path to the batters box. Fucking awesome!
