With the ____ pick of the NFL Draft, the [insert favorite team] select ________________.
I'll take a shot
With the 16th pick of the NFL Draft, the Rams select Kenny Vaccaro, Safety, Texas
and then
With the 22nd pick of the NFL Draft, the Rams select DeAndre Hopkins, Wide Receiver, Clemson

Trading up to take a slot receiver with the 8th pick? Yikes.

If the Raiders take Geno Smith with this pick, I'm going to throw things ...

Wow. Big risk.

It's a different NFL. You can't hit anyone anymore and this kid is supposed to be the most explosive player in the draft. Amendola has been their best offensive player other than Steven Jackson in recent years and he's in Foxboro.
The Rams offense has been putrid. It just got a lot better. Plus the drafted their outside guys last year.

I get all that, and the need to get Bradford some guys he can throw to. But I'm wary of small guys like that playing in the NFL because once they do get hit, they don't get up.
But I've got other things to fret about tonight. The Raiders just picked a guy who's supposed to be dead.

E.J. Manuel? Really? It's about time for Mel Hairdo Jr. to drop a "the Bills don't understand the draft" bomb.

I can't watch Kiper. I'm watching NFL Network. Mike Mayock is actually pretty good.

I'm curious what they do with the #22 pick. The top safeties are gone. Jarvis Jones is gone. I could see them trying to trade down to recoup a pick or taking a gamble on Eddie Lacy.

I could Mel Kiper's job.

Chris Duncan of all people went with the prediction that they would trade up for Austin then trade down at 22.

Think they traded down to take Lacy?

I like Mayock. I just can't take Deion's act. I chose ESPN because Sheffter usually has the best sources. He had the Rams trading down while Goodell was still on the podium shaking hands with the kid the Cardinals picked at #7.

Great pick by the Packers.

OK, which sucker takes Te'o?

Funny how Todd McShay hasn't been on camera yet. I guess he and Kiper hate each other.

Didn't you see? There's a big flag flying over NFL headquarters today that says: Homos not welcome.

Hairdo Jr. is going to throw a tantrum if Te'o doesn't go early in round two.

Goodell just introduced Keith Bulluck as being from the University of Miami. What an ass.

The Eagles just drafted the TE I wanted the Raiders to draft.

Best analysis of a draft pick--Mike Mayock on Raiders 2nd round pick Manelik Watson: He's a great story. Came to this country to play basketball. It didn't work out. He's played one year of football. He has no idea what he's doing at tackle, but he's a unique athletic talent who just might make it work."

Trey Wingo said tackle is a position where the Raiders need some help. No shit. Except for kicker and long snapper, the Raiders need help at every position.
I like the safey from USC that the Rams got in the third round. Every time I watched an SC game last season, it seemed like he was around the ball.

That's good to know because they desperately need something out of the safety positions.

From an amateur draftnik perspective, I like what the Rams did. They added 2 certain starters in Austin and Ogletree, a likely starter in McDonald and a couple of guys who will compete for starting position/reps in Bailey, Jones and Stacy. The cornerback was just a depth guy, but in today's NFL you can hardly have enough depth at corner.

I love this Bailey kid. He's also tweeting at Torry Holt asking how to assume a leadership role in the locker room.
