With Robinson, Votto, Phillips and maybe Bruce due up in the 10th, I wouldn't mind another couple of runs.

Darwin Barney makes that play.

That's right. Turning your $15 replica cap inside out is going to help the Reds come up with seven runs.

Get in the batter's box so you can make the last out of the game, you fucking showboat.

Off day tomorrow. Wonder if the Mets will skip someone and pitch Harvey on Thursday or if we'll miss him again.

Thank you.
Drive home safely in the '73 Pinto, you stupid fucking rednecks.

He left his last start with a back problem, but he supposedly said he'll make his next start as scheduled.

Yeah, I heard that. But the Mets are off tomorrow too. Thursday would be his 5th day, but it would mean skipping someone in the rotation. The Mets could just stay in order, in which case Harvey pitches Friday.

Somewhere Danny (from the Yahoo board) is sitting in traffic trying to figure out how the Reds have lost 3 straight series to St. Louis.

I just looked it up. The Cardinals have lost two series so far, and none since the April 26-28 set with Pittsburgh.

I'm taking credit for the 10th. After the ninth I took my daughter to the park to throw a frisbee and watch the sunset and missed the rest of the game.

Hard to pass up that offer, even in a tie game in the ninth.

I turned the game off and fell asleep after the top of the ninth. It was nice to wake up to a win.

With about a month to go until the ASB, here's how the schedule breaks down:
-3 at New York
-3 at Miami
-4 vs. Chicago
-3 vs. Texas
-2 at Houston
-3 at Oakland
-3 at Anaheim
-3 vs. Miami
-2 vs. Houston
-4 at Chicago
That's 12 at home and 15 on the road.

I know he's had a tough season, but nobody hits the ball harder than Matt Holliday. No one. That was ridiculous.

You know what might be an interesting thing? FSMW might want to measure the speed of the ball as it comes off Holliday's bat, compare it to how fast it comes of other players' bats, and then have Dan McLaughln gush over the difference for the rest of the inning. That would be entertaining television.

I don't have time to look it up today, but it would be interesting to find out how many times the Cardinals have scored 6 runs or more in an inning so far this season. I'll be it's at least a half-dozen.
