Anyone going to the game today? I got box seats from work. Might be nice to say hi if so!

Hope you've got access to a boat.

I hope that means you're advising him to hit the Casino Queen before the game and not torrential rain.

Sorry. It's been pouring for several hours. Tarp is still on the field.

Seems unlikely a guy who gives a 75 percent effort most of the time would strain anything.

Maybe it'll fill up, but right now there's a pathetically small crowd at the Great American Launching Pad for Pirates/TTTIB.

Brennaman's Mentally-Retarded Offspring and Idiot Sidekick are speculating how long it will take the Pirates to plunk one of the Reds in this series.
They've not mentioned yet that the first HBP in the previous series was Cueto plunking McCutchen.

Uh-oh. Votto either missed a hit-and-run sign or took a pitch he wasn't supposed to. Choo got thrown out stealing by five feet, popped up and looked toward Votto.

Brennaman just spent an entire Mesoraco at bat explaining that a pitcher on the 15-day DL can't pitch for 15 days.

Brennaman: "To be the best, you have to beat the best. And THE REDS PLAN ON BEING THE BEST."
You can't pay a guy enough for that kind of insight.

ESPN is reporting there's a rain delay at "Bush Stadium."
Friggin' idiots.

Watching the hockey game now. There's such a discrepancy between Brennadork and Doc Emrick, who could read the phone book and make it sound interesting. Can you imagne Brennadouche using the word "paraphernalia" in context?

Rain delay, ESPN, wiped out so I stayed home. CARDINALS BASEBALL!

Jeez-us, when did Soriano turn into a disciplined hitter?

Everyone from my generation could use the word paraphernalia in context.

Alfonso Soriano struck out on a breaking pitch. Go figure.

Wow, they just advertised that Cardinals Rangers will be the Sunday night game.

Stupidity grates on me as badly as it does on you, but I am going to buck the popular opinion on this board and note the NLC currently has the THREE best records in baseball. I like that, and it's a big change from just a few years ago when the NLC was, and had been, the weakest division in baseball.

Miller has to put away Darwin Theriot quicker.

Spelling it was a little more difficult, depending upon the frequency of usage.

The "Comedy Central" thing was annoying. If you include Houston, five of the six teams in the division have made the playoffs in the last 10 years. People talk about the vaunted AL East, but when was the last time the Blue Jays made the playoffs? The Orioles were awful for about 15 years. The Rays were worse than awful their first 10 years.
