Just by me.
I always knew you and I thought alike, Artie.
I expect some sort of discussion along these lines will begin among the fringe Cardinals journo/bloggers, and if any of the pitchers show delayed development in Memphis, the story will move the the PD.Other than Wacha and Martinez, both of whom pitched well in St. Louis and have since been sent back, none of the pitchers that were called up were "promising young rookies."
I suppose you could throw Maness in that group, but he's pitched pretty well also.
Who specifically are you concerned about?
Wacha.

Freaking unbelievable Miller..

What was the error on Miller all about?

Threw a simple bunt low and away to Craig / Manness saved his butt...

Just generally worried or based on something specific?
Just my opinion, but it seemed to me Wacha's 3 starts were a learning experience. He learned his fastball and changeup were major league ready, but his curve wasn't. Much like Miller last year, the little bit of adversity should be good for him and I suspect the next time he leaves Memphis will be his last.

There are a lot of good pitchers in baseball, but anyone else notice that Max Scherzer is 3 outs away from going 11-0, has an ERA of 3, a WHIP of 0.9 and is on pace to strike out about 250-260?

Pitcher was bunting with two outs? I guess it worked. He got on base.

Generally. I just don't want his confidence to be shattered. I agree with the rest of your post.

Who did the Diamondbacks get in that trade? I'm guessing it wasn't enough.

Best game Wigginton has had for the Cardinals so far.

3 team deal. Arizona got Ian Kennedy and Edwin Jackson. Detroit got Scherzer and Austin Jackson. Yankees got Granderson. Pretty sure there were some lesser names involved also.

Kennedy has been pretty good for them. I think Mark Schlereth's kid was involved, too. He was supposed to be a starter by now, but I don't think it's worked out for him.

Who specifically are you concerned about?Do you really want to do this, because I sure don't.
It's a simple question, isn't it?
When will you stop beating your wife? It's a simple question, isn't it?
God I am tired of this BS Fors. Let it rest.

Yes it is. Answer: I never started.
So, who specifically are you concerned about?
If you don't like these conversations, don't try to manufacture controversy where none exists.

Well let's get back to issue of beating your wife, at what point do you consider the violence you do to be a beating? Isn't it possible that what you do is beating your wife by some persons standards, but you just don't consider it beating? . . . get the picture?
"If you don't like these conversations, don't try to manufacture controversy where none exists."
I agree, and manufacturing controversy is exactly what you are doing.

The only guy manufacturing anything is the guy who's apparently too cowardly to answer a simple question.
I'll even make it simple for you. Here are the rookies who have pitched for the Cardinals this year:
Starters:
Miller
Wacha
Gast
Lyons
Relievers:
Rosenthal
Manness
Siegrist
Martinez
Blazek
Butler
Feel free to pick as many as you like.
