Albert reiterates he's not bitter toward anyone, then is quoted saying the Cardinals and unnamed members of the media "threw me under the bus."

I like Bernie's take on it in the side link : Cards better off without Pujols....

I believe Didi was driving said bus.
Here's the link to the story Don is talking about

The game will be playing during the open mic tonight. I hope I get to watch a bit of it.

Regional TV only tonight, Max. MLBN is showing Giants/Reds. ESPN has highlights from its XGames, and ESPN2 has a WNBA game.

Yes, but the open mic takes place in a sports bar! I might be able to pull strings and get the Cardinal game on.

Haven't seen a revised lineup

Bailey has a perfect game through six. I hope this post doesn't jinx him.

Ugh. Robinson, Deacalso, Wigginton and Cruz don't exactly present very good options.

It's a shame the Angels don't have a gold glove first baseman to make that play on the ball in the dirt.

You got the perfecto, but Bailey got the no-no.

Yeah, it's pretty bad.

The replay when they cut away to commercial showed the runner was safe. Carpenter missed the tag.

Is it me, or did Shuck look back toward the plate with a "Who the heck made THAT throw?" expression after Yadi gunned him down?

That's what I thought upon first glance. Not a great start defensively.

Some great fiction being imparted on the Angels broadcast. If you listen to them, the Cardinals made every effort to sign Pujols, and he's a beloved figure in St. Louis.

Throw beat the runner, tag was down. Defense is going to get that call all the time, 60 percent of the time (random 'Anchorman' reference alert).

Uhh, was the infield playing in on that? And if so, why??

Somebody make it stop.
Also, are you serious, Jon Jay?

Scal was playing in for the bunt, but Kozma was back. Trumbo broke on the pitch and Kozma had the bag, which opened up the 56 hole.

I hate listening to Al. First he tried to call an infield fly on the foul pop out. Now he's blaming the hits on Lynn not being willing to pitch inside.
