He's there so the Cardinals can begin the bottom of the first with runners on first and second.

If any of you guys are in the D.C. area on Aug. 31, Gavin DeGraw is the post-game entertainment at Nashnils Ballpark.

He played Fair St. Louis a couple years ago.

Dear Dan,
Pete Kozma has not hit a rough patch offensively . He just sucks.
Sincerely,

Good start so far for Miller.

Anyone else notice Adams hasn't hit as well since they let Wigginton go?

He still throws too many fucking pitches, but the results have been better.

This will be the "Pete Kozma doesn't need to hit so long as he plays good defense" portion of the broadcast sponsored by Baghdad Al's Fu Manchu Stylings for the Stupid.

Ah to be young and cocky. Bob just I formed me that Jon Jay is slow and he would have been at 3rd.

Do you think Philadelphia is anticipating the NL adopting the DH? With Michael Young, Delmon Young and Ryan Howard (when healthy) they have 3 in the lineup.

I'd be OK with Freese breaking this game open.

I think Freese was guessing changeup.

Crap. When is someone going to come up with a hit with runners on base?

I was thinking the same thing. Not that Bob would have made it to third, but Jay should have.
