7/25 GC

Maybe the Nashinuls are going to try today.  They're up 4-1 in the 5th.

Bryce Harper wins it in the bottom of the 9th.  The Nats still suck.

Re: 7/25 GC

I kinda doubt Lynn's job is in jeopardy.

Maybe it should be, though.

Lynn is the new Wellemeyer. Jesus 40+ pitches thru 2 and they haven't scored yet.

50 RBI before the end of July by an NL lead off hitter is sick.

Good to see them get three early off Kyle Kendrick the Kardinal Killer.

I don't think I've ever watched 6 more painful inning where a pitcher only allowed 1 run. Just brutal.

I think the Cardinals missed their chance of selling high on Lynn and Jay last season.

Re: 7/25 GC

This is starting to feel like 2004, when the Cardinals couldn't lose no matter how they played, except the division is much, much more competitive.

I dunno, the Astros were a juggernaut and the Cubs won 93 games. I'm probably jinxing it, but I don't think the Bucs and Reds will duplicate that.

Not sure how you can forget the 2004 Cubs. It was year 2 of the Prior/Wood Dynasty. It lasted almost as long as the Ming Dynasty.

In 2005, I wanted the Cardinals to dump Molina because he was batting about .135 and I thought he'd never be a major league hitter.

All those championships they won during that era tend to fog my memory, so forgive me.
