Pittsburgh's bullpen has pitched the fifth most innings. How can these guys possibly be this good on July 31? It's incredible.
I read something else about a Sabremetric that the Pirates have some kind of ridicuously-aberrant batting average on balls put in play that's bound to revert to the mean.

At some point it will, just as the Cardinals ridiculous RISP numbers did, but whether it happens before the Cardinals are five back with five weeks to go, I'm not sure.
St. Louis needed more from Wainwright tonight. And the Cardinals needed to do more against Locke. This is getting kinda scary.
