It's Mike Matheny Bobblehead Night?
But how will we know the difference?
(Sorry. Someone was going to ...)

And someone else hit a third consecutive homer.
Cubs 3, Bucs 3 T5

I know Ishywashy for Seattle here is supposed to be a pretty good pitcher, but this offensive malaise the Cardinals have shown the past few games is beginning to get troubling.

Great play by Carpenter, but dumber baserunning by Franklin.

Cubs win. Barely. Walker hit a warning track line drive with the tying run on base.

Seriously??? I don't think I've ever seen a major league infielder look worse on a pop up.

Franklin lost it in the sun.

Man, that's a risky move having Kozma steal third.

You gotta be shittin' me. That's the easiest double play ball you'll ever see.
I wouldn't blame Furbush if he turned around and gave his infield the finger after that nonsense.

We complain about some of the crap we see from the Cardinals, but could you imagine being a Mariners fan and watching this shit for 162 games?

It rains 359 days a year in Seattle. I'd Cobain myself after about a week.

Yeah, but Mujica's been the other end of the horse lately.

This makes me nervous. Mujica hasn't been very good lately.

Is that Edny Chavez????

Dear Mariner Manager,
Michael Saunders is a strikeout machine. Yadier Molina has a cannon of an arm. Sending the runner was the baseball equivalent of taking a sledge hammer to the nuts. The outcome was fairly certain.
Thanks,
Mike Matheny

The "Messin' With Sasquatch" story line has kind of run out of new ideas.

Mujica faced 3 hitters, gave up 2 hits and managed to pitch a scoreless inning.

Whereas Furbush didn't give up a hit and gets tagged with a blown save.

Maybe in the next commercial they can have the "6 is a serious number" guy sneak up and put a pair of headphones on a sleeping Sasquatch. It then wakes up, smashes the 2 d-bags with a rock before being shot and killed by a wayward hunter. Both commercials come to an end.
