Lyerla leaving Oregon (Rolen style "personal" issues)

Very solid tight end, but been nothing but a complete pain in the ass all season.

Missed a game due to illness which was communicated as circumstances to the media. He didn't like that communication, so he told a NEWSPAPER he didn't like it. Came out a day later and apologized for that, then decided team meetings and whatnot were optional. Suspended for a game, and he's leaving. He's too late in his college career to transfer anywhere, so he's going to get ready for the NFL (now my obvious question would be "isn't the best way to get ready for the NFL to play the season out, and declare for the draft???" whatever.)

Sad too, because if not for this I would have projected him as a high NFL draft pick, he's an absolute beast, but now he's starting to come over like a complete crybaby. Oregon will be okay, they have a true freshman (Rundt or something like that) who's played very well in Lyerla's absense.

This just in!

This dude is about as stable as Lawrence Phillips.

How do you go from a lock first round pick to unlikely to be drafted? Just like this.
