Bad pitch. That pitch to ortizshould have been a footoff the plate. He is hitting everything. Ive been saying this.

No clue why Ortiz got a fastball there.

Ortiz is going to have to get himself out whenever he comes up with someone on base. It's probably not a bad strategy, but I hate it.
I am not giving ortiz much to hit here. Nothing drivable. Walking him isnt so bad.
If you bring in Choate, you've played your trump card, so you have to go after him.
See where that got them. Bring in choate and throw him shit. Ortiz thinks he is being pitched to. Basicly that is what happend u till choate threw it center plate low.

Dumb to start the inning with Kelly, then bring in Maness to turn Nava back around. Really baffling.

New ball game. Disadvantage cards for having a short handed bullpen. Mujica is a non factor. Siegrist might have to many nerves for a late game situation. Miller hasnt pitch in a month. Axford, martinez and rosenthal are the only trustworthy pitchers. That spells trouble.

Kelly was gassed. Plus he is a 5 inning pitcher. I also let maness bat at this point. They need him still.

Encouraging inning from Siegrist.

I've been IM'ing my boss telling him as well as MM managed Game 2, he's screwing the pooch tonight.

The Cardinals have to score here. If this game goes more than nine innings, I'm going to run out of beer.

It's too bad Holliday can't hit in the clutch.

Bwck in business. We are fine. Martinez, then rosenthal. No big deal

Freese is either not healthy or just completely washed up. The walks are nice but they are more like the walks Khalil Greene was drawing in '09. He's just praying he doesn't have to swing the bat.

OK. Martinez and Rosenthal.

After what just happened to Missouri I'm expecting the Cardinals to blow this.

Hey, look, Missouri's mojo has moved east to St. Louis.

I'm telling you guys as someone who just witnessed a 15-yard touchdown on fourth-and-goal: Get a barf bag ready.

Kozma ... again.

Adams and Molina's pitiful strikeouts are going to loom arge.

Two guys swinging at eye tall fastballs with risp is never a plus.

To say nothing of a missed 24-yard FG attempt ...

Adams and Molina both struck out on 3-2 pitches around their eyes with a runner on third and less then two outs.
Kozma stood on top of second base and made a ... casual ... throw to first on a double play that would have ended the inning.

It was Kozma who ruined Wacha's no-hitter by casually backing him up. The guy plays with all the urgency of a fat kid.

Wong is going to be at second base next year. He's going to be electric once he settles in.

Fine. Who plays shortstop?
