Sounds like they're going to be lucky to play even two games this weekend in Pittsburgh.

Just read that they're going to wait until 3 p.m. (Cincy time) to decide whether to play. And, indeed, the storm is heading east. I won't mind a little rain. As long as it's warm.

Probably today. Homer Bailey is on my fantasy team.

From Gameday, it looked like Lynn put that in a perfect spot for Bruce.

Lynn is a frustrating pitcher. I don't think it's mental as much as it is a breakdown of mechanics.

I believe the Cardinals are now 0-for-12 with RISP. Regression monster is striking.

Defense could be an issue this year.

His slider is flat, so he's relying on his fastball, and they know it's coming. It's remarkable he's been able to get through the last three innings without allowing a run.
I wouldn't stay with him much longer. He's already around 90 pitches.

Brantley: "Lynn struggles when he doesn't have good location."
You have to play in the major leagues to develop that kind of insight.

He's sending Lynn out for the fifth so he can qualify for a win ...

... and Lynn comes up with a rocking chair inning.

107 pitches thru 5.
Lynn must be a distant relative of Wellemeyer.

Great game from Adams so far

And Choate retires three right-handed batters.
I'm not going to question Matheny anymore. I'm just going to go with whatever he decides.

Ive been in and out of the game with family xuties but it seems Lynn is an average pitcher, jay cant field, adams can hit and wong is fast. Did i miss anything?

Not a fan of replay at all but i like that the decison is made away from the ballpark.

I realize they just started using replay, but if a ball hits off the wall and the question is catch/no catch, if it's no catch they have to give the hitter a double. The placement of the runners was a joke.

Bases loaded no outs and they can't get it out of the infield.
