I hope Mozeliak can find a new crop of relievers when Martinez, Siegrist and Rosenthal have been worn down to a nub by Memorial Day.

The only thing loaded was Matheny.
The best part was Hrabosky trying to justify it by saying "Rosenthal used to be a shortstop." And I used to be thin, single and happy.

Plus, Rosenthal was a shortstop, oh, five years ago.
Hopefully Matheny and Mozeliak met this morning to discuss whatever the hell is going on. Part of this is on Mozeliak and his hubris on the bullpen. It was silly to expect Garcia to be able to contribute much, and it was equally silly to expect that they can just program their AAA pitchers to be competent middle relievers. If Butler and Maness are off-limits in anything minus a mop-up situation, that speaks loudly on the situation. Kozma? Well, he can't have much confidence left. If he has no role, they need to bring up Greg Garcia.
