You guys are on your own, at least for the first few innings. Today is a religious feast day for my wife's people.

Tell your mother-in-law we all said hi.
And in her honor a Passover haiku
Happy Passover
Our people free from Eqypt
Please pass the bacon

Miller is overthrowing everything.

Good umpires are practically invisible.

By my count, that's five outs on the bases the Cardinals have given the Brewers so far in this series.

It's unleavened bread, she said.
Tastes almost the same

That's good managing.

Rec. I bet Matheny started hyperventilating when he realized he couldn't go to Martinez again.

I love how the Fox guys are talking about Garcia as if they expect him to pitch this year. I expect to have sex tonight. I'd say the chances are about the same.

Some runs would be nice.
I hit submit on this right as Henderson wound up. Good golly Matt Holliday.

Holliday is kinda strong.

That's gotta be more homers from shortstop than they have gotten in 2012-2013 combined.

I don't think Henderson will be getting his closer job back anytime soon.

I'm not sure why, but for some reason beating the Brewers is particularly satisfying.
Might as not even watch tomorrow. With a chance to sweep, the Cardinals have exactly an 11.37% chance of winning.

Great series win. No chance they sweep, but oh well.

Like the bullpen work Neshek,Siegrist, and Maness ....

Over on FS Brewers, there was this exchange:
Anderson: "Who's the best front-foot hitter you've ever seen?"
Schroeder: "Hank Aaron."
Anderson: "OK, that ends that debate."
