Call it silly superstition, but I like the fact that Cruz is catching Lynn.
Who knows, maybe it becomes a way for Yadi to get the days off he needs.

And I don't think it's entirely superstitious. Some guys just work better with certain pitchers. This probably isn't the best example, but how much longer was McCarver's career because he was Steve Carlton's valet? And Muddux had his personal catcher, even though that probably had more to do with trying to avoid Javy Lopez.

Teddy never gets a break in the Presidents Race. At least now they let him win every so often. He used to have a streak that rivaled the Washington Generals losing to the Globetrotters.
