I'm getting the Mets' feed tonight.
Cohen: "Duda frozen on a curveball from Wainwright. We've seen that before."

Jon Jay being god-like again ...

Ron Darling is the best baseball analyst, by far. He just explained anything anyone wanted to know about Wainwright's curveball in about 20 seconds.

#500. Congrats, Albert.

Good grief I hope Wainwright isn't hurt.

There cannot be a worse base running team in the league.

Just reported he hyperextended his right knee. Don't know how serious it will be.

Rosenhausen appears again ...

I've been switching back and forth between a hockey game, but even at that I counted three outs on the bases.

Probably a better-case scenario than it could have been. It's not his landing leg. The way his ankle kind of rolled, he could have torn some cartilage, or worst of all, a ligament.

Just saw the highlight. He looks great. Probably 30 pounds lighter than he looked last season.

He has been pretty good with his back against the wall. He is making it hard for mm to plug borjous in everyday.

What was he doing? Pitching?

Chris Young hit a weak popup that landed in no man's land to the right of the mound. Wainwright went for it, but the ball was over his head and Adams fielded it. When Waino tried to change course to cover first base, he stumbled and his right leg locked as he was bent over. Adams tagged out Young to end the inning. Waino kind of limped off the field, but it didn't look serious.

Congrats to Albert on 500.
I had said earlier (though maybe not here) that it wouldn't shock me to see Pujols have another solid year or two that kick out of the decline he's been in. He may need to kill himself to stay in that kind of shape, but he's had 2-3 years of people thinking he's just overpaid dead weight, and I don't think his pride can handle that well at all.
I also have to say I'm not longer angry at him. We'd be in serious trouble if we had his contract, and a lot of other players would be wearing other jerseys... Heard someone say that they think he can get 700. I'll give him 600 for sure. 700 is going to require him to be very healthy.
