The Glovers look for their eighth win in a row in a key matchup with Alz's Fins, who need a win and a loss by Fors to forge a tie for second place. Fors has a couple of new Giants on board as he looks to hold off AP's dangerous but ill-fortuned squad.
TK has tapped a couple of his beloved Patriots (15 bucks for Aaron Hernandez? Really?) in his bid to break the fouth place logjam with a win over the fading Athols.
Max needs a win over the Gophers to keep his post-season hopes alive.

Yeah. I was leaving nothing to chance.
More than half of my team is playing tomorrow. If I beat Windy, I'm dedicating the win to Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

I just got back from my non football watching inlaws. How the hell are the lions keeping pace with the Pats.

Did you really think Herr Goodell was going to let his favorite team lose on national TV?

I don't see any way Jason Garrett doesn't receive the Cowboys job now. There are no minority candidates that are going to blow him away (not even Raheem Morris) and I think Cowher would be foolish to come out of retirement for a blowhard like Jerry.

Someone needs to tell Garrett to not tuck that sweatshirt into his pants. He already looks gay, and he doesn't need any wardrobe malfunctions to enhance that image.

Bill Simmons managed to work a Patriots reference where it was not necessary into his chat this week. When talking about the Jets constantly coming from behind, he said they remind him of the 03-04 Patriots.
Yeah. That's who I was thinking of, too.

True and I think a NFL team is better off promoting from within in case were the team isnt a complete lose. It is impossible for a new coach to come in, do things his way and win in the first year. Vikings needs to keep Frazior as well. That is unless they want someone to take him and him win a super bowl for them like every other assistant has done.

He will fit in with his metrosexual QB.

FWIW: "Points for" are now in perfect correlation with ranking, first place to last place, with the lone exception that AP has scored the second most points but is tied for 4th place. And points against are a decent fit, with AP again being the radical outlier.
So, in a way, while AP is clearly getting screwed by bad luck, pretty much everyone else more or less deserves to be where they are at this point, as long as we maintain the adage that 'injuries are a part of the game'.

I'm consistently perplexed that you pay attention to Simmons, TK. He's is to sports media what Carlos Zambrano is to baseball players - an ill-tempered asshole who thinks everything is about him.

Meaning Romo, not Kitna. Kitna looks like one of the droogs from Clockwork Orange.

It's probably a generational thing. I find him quite amusing and especially informative about the NBA, but a know-nothing when it comes to football or baseball.
I do think he's right about west coast teams playing 1 p.m. games, though.

I'm 48, TK. I'm still a few years away from eating the Early Bird Special and turning in at 7 o'clock.

I will be in my rightfull place at the bottom soon. None of my moves are working anymore and it is a weekly struggle to fill the roster with player who suck the least.

Yeah, but Simmons' readership is mostly guys that are in their 20s and waste time with meaningless pop culture stuff. For example, how many episodes of "The O.C." did you watch?

No, he didn't, but at the time the knock against Dungy was he had Schottenheimeritis - a good regular season coach who choked in the playoffs.

The Aaron Miles Express is rolling. towards the playoffs.

I'd like to dedicate this week's win to the great William Jefferson Clinton and Al Gore. I couldn't have done it without them.
