9/10 GC

Lackerson v. Alfredo Simon, who is 1-7 since the All-Star break.

What a joke this city is.

Re: 9/10 GC

I hope DeWitt is sitting in the front row again tonight and witnessed that display by Lackey. If I ran the team, I'd pay him what they owe him and tell him to keep walking. Of course, if I ran the team, I never would have approved that stupid trade in the first place.

Re: 9/10 GC

I thought the ump was short tempered but thats just my opinion.  I coukd sed lackey was frusterated.  Now the rain knocked my dish out.

The blonde sitting in the front row behind home plate has spent most of the game thus far waving to her friends she's talking to on her cell phone.

According to the Cincinnati dugout reporter, Lackey had been on him since the begining of the game, and screamed at him right before he got tossed.
You're missing Alfredo Simon having the game of his life at the plate.

Re: 9/10 GC

Looks like the Cardinals might be back in their pattern of one step forward, one step back.

Craig is now hitting an even .100 (5 for 50) for the Sox with 22 strikeouts. And I've read that now he may need off-season foot surgery.

Lackey definitely said something, but not until after Hallion had ripped off his mask and screamed something at Lackey. Lackey's mistake was not realizing Hallion came to the park with a god complex tonight.

Thats how i feel.  I was wanting to see a push for home field.  Instead it looks like they are going to leave the door for the pirates and brewers open.

I don't care about Craig. I'd rather have Kelly in the rotation than Lackey.

I'm not sure it's Tom Hallion's fault Lackey allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base. I'm almost certain it's not Tom Hallion's fault Lackey threw a cripple pitch to Ludwick that ended up in the left field bleachers, and I'm positive it's not Tom Hallion's fault Lackey gave up a double to the opposing pitcher.
If you watch the video of Matheny on P-D's website, he's clearly become weary of Lackey's antics, which according to the accompanying story have occurred "basically every start."

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that.
