Marty Brennaman and Brantley are trying to figure out why Cueto has given up 20 homers this year and Lynn has only given up eight. Could one of the reasons be that Cueto pitches in a miniature ballpark the Reds decided to build because they thought no one would show up unless Ken Griffey Jr. was hitting home runs every night?

Thought Adams had one there ....

Gonna be a damn shame if we lose this one, Lynn is throwing very well.

Looks like it may be a 1 - 0 game either way ......

That's a pretty bad series loss. Probably puts HFA out of reach.

Pirates are 2 1/2 out because of the Cardinals dicking around against Cincinnati's Triple-A affiliate.

Funny how a few games can change everything. Instead of paying attention the the cards i should start paying attention to the pirates. I think the division depends more on them playing bad then it does the cards grabbing the bull by the horns. The cards are not going to do that. At this point we should know that.

Yes, we should know that. What transpired this week was pretty terrible baseball. Alfredo Simon has been awful since the ASB and the Cardinals packed it in after the first inning. Michael Wacha had nothing and Matheny runs Tuesday's game like a Grapefruit League showdown. Yesterday was an example of the Cardinals trying to get the hell out of Cincinnati and make it home before supper. I'm just not sure if I trust this team to be able to focus against the also-rans and that's basically the only teams they'll play this weekend and after Milwaukee.
