Neshek looks like he's cooked. He hasn't thrown this many innings in a season since he was with the Twins. Even though he didn't get hit particularly hard last night, he wasn't hitting his spots they way he needs to in order to be effective.
On the other hand, I know it's just one outing, but Rosenthal actually looked like a closer last night.

If the Cardinals can manage to win tonight, it will force Pittsburgh to make an interesting decision. They can pitch Cole on Sunday in hopes of winning to get to a 1 game playoff with the Cardinals for the division which would probably be started by Jeff Locke.
Or, they can save Cole for San Francisco.
A win tonight would be really sweet.
I think Cueto is going for her 20th win in one of these last two games.
