9/11 Gamecrap

Westbrook did just NOT walk a .180 hitter with the bases loaded!

Re: 9/11 Gamecrap

It took Westbrook 55 pitches to get six outs. What a dick.

And 18 pitches to get the next six outs. He's still a dick, though.

Nice to see Reyes is doing what he can to keep Garcia from winning ROY.  What a dick!

Really?  Then something is totally messed up with Yahoo, because I just looked at the box score and it says he did.

Re: 9/11 Gamecrap

When Rasmus has impressed me it has been when he walks.  He has shown he can do it.  I just dont think he wants to.  He walked 8 times in the first 5 games and 4 times in one game against the Cubs.

Re: 9/11 Gamecrap

After 17 years in the league and come off of two years when Wagner only threw 15inning he can still bring the heat.

Re: 9/11 Gamecrap

Albert Pujols today became the first player in baseball history to drive in at least 100 runs in each of his first 10 seasons. Not Ruth. Not Gehrig. Not Musial. Not Aaron. Not Mays. Not Williams.
Albert Pujols.

True. But he's a nibbler. And I hate nibblers.

Ok, so that was the good news.

And now for the not so good news, was that the double that drove in two, or was the eighth inning ground out with bases loaded that squeezed one run in, for the tie, but didn't manage to get across the go ahead run, that would have saved us the extra innings, in which we lost the game?
