Terrell Suggs, an Arizona State guy, tellin' it like it is. I love it that his contempt for "that other team up north" is so deep he can't even say the name.
"The league has their favorites. One being in Indy and one being with that other team up north. Besides those two, everybody is fair game. Some quarterbacks are getting the calls right away. Some quarterbacks they don't care.
"Like I always said, Carson Palmer got hit in his knee in 2005 but there was no rule made. Then Tom Brady got hit in his knee and all of a sudden there is a rule and possible suspensions, excessive fines -- it's just getting ridiculous."

I admire his chutzpah, but I've got a feeling that one earns him a trip to the principal's office.

What was that you were saying about the hits those thugs from the Raiders and the Packers put on McMahon?

I don't recall saying anything. I recall thinking at the time that the guy from the Packers who had the hit list draped from his waist was nuts, and then he proved it by needlessly slamming McMahon to the turf right in front of the referee. Who were the Raiders' involved?
And I'm not sure what any of it has to do with Manning and Brady. Suggs is on the mark about Brady, who turns to the officials and screams for a flag all the time. I don't recall ever seeing Manning beg for a roughing the passer call, though.

Suggs may be right, but I'm with Fors: his wallet's going to be a little lighter next week.
