Let's see if Cubs fans can successfully use something as abhorrent as the n-word to troll the national media into a fake hot mic kerfuffle. That is about the only interesting thing that will happen in this series, which I expect the Cubs to win in a rout.

What did I miss?
And nice use of "kerfuffle."

When the Cubs were in town last month, a Cubs blogger went to Twitter and said that ESPN needed to be careful about its "hot mics" because it was picking up Cardinals fans yelling the n-word at Heyward. So Twitter ran with it, the New York Daily News escalated it and it turned into a big ordeal. The audio in question never had it and the guy who started it backtracked.

OK. So this is the kerfuffle from the last trip.
I also read Heyward denied hearing any racial slurs.
Not that the Daily News would stir anything up ...

Aren't there two words you would like to mention concerning Heyward sometime today prior to first pitch or sometime during the game ?

I don't know if he's playing tonight after that face plant he did in San Francisco on Friday. Too bad. The Cardinals could use an automatic out in that lineup.

I thought the Cardinals might be able to swipe this one because the Cubs played a night game in San Francisco last night, but the Cubs are the ones who look ready to play.

Did Edmonds just suggest Diaz should have caught that throw with his bare hand?

He mentioned bare hand but I didn't get the analogy , if there was one . He talks so fast and so monotone , and so boring , and so ....
I just tune him out , Dan too...

Narrowed after the first inning ...

What's the reasoning for waiting 60 seconds between posts . I mean I'm not Flash Gordon on an IPad , but that seems a bit silly ...

Not sure how many of you are getting the FSMW feed, but for those of you who are, can someone explain the concept behind the "Viagra Single Pack"? Maybe a better way to ask--why does Viagra come in anything other than a single pack? Is there a "multi-pack?" If so, does it come with a 2 liter bottle of Gatorade and a defibrillator?
