I'm watching Hudson pitch. Fastball consistently at 93-94. His cutter is nasty. Curveball seems a little lazy. I don't know what genius decided to start a baseball game at 5 pm local.time in Starkville during the second week in June, but it's about 110 degrees on the field. Probably with 99 percent humidity.

These dunderheads from Tucson are used to the heat. The humidity is something they rarely experience, however.

I think it's the first time they've ever gotten Gung out two at bats in a row.

I'm covering legion ball and it's 90 degrees.

If another Pittsburgh player gets hurt, Greg Brown is going to cry.

The high today in St. Louis was 95+. Bob's football team just finished a 3 hour jamboree in pads. Because their starting LT was away at a recruiting camp, Bob had to play both ways. He's dead.

Too tired to eat his customary 8,500 calorie meal?

I don't think I've ever seen a pitcher bounce as many pitches in front of the plate as Wacha has tonight.

Cole left due to "right triceps tightness."

It had been a consistent zone. He's given the outside corner, but not the inside corner until that pitch.

Please. He had 2 orders or rigatoni carbonara from the Pasta House along with a half gallon of water
