This team makes me just want to ignore them till 2017 and hope for better times. How can you seeep the best team in baseball and then fall flat on your face.
They are hard to watch as a team . I do enjoy some individual players who keep my attention . Carpenter , OH , I want to see how Diaz and Piscotty develop . Rest , don't have much interest in anymore , including Holliday , Molina , and the entire pitching staff don't excite me ...
I like the offense but it is hard to watch these pitchers who were so good last year look so bad. Idk if it is the ball that is juiced or what. These hrs are exciting. The games are not a struggle to stay awake through like last years nightly pitching dual. I just wish they would put it together for awhile.

There's probably more fireworks in this one

why can't we keep Freyer, and send Pena to Cuba ?
I'm fine with Fryer. I'd like to see him play more. It's obvious Yadi needs more rest at this point in his career.
Obvious is an understatement.
One good thing is that between matheny having to dind time early for hazelbaker and now adams and moss, it has reduced mathenys ablity to put the same 8 guys on the field.

Idk y he is still on the team. He isnt good. If you cant throw strikes with a 5 tun lead your just not very good.

They're committed to him at this point. He can probably be an effective pitcher if he can ever master that sinker. About one out of every three is filthy.

He is a rule 5th pick correct? They are about the least amount committed to him as anyone in the org. The only catch is they lose him if they dont have him on the 25 man. I guess im confused on what the plan it. Is lyons the lefty or long relief? It seems to me that they have two long relievers. I dont really trust lyons to come in and shut down a lefty or even handle a high stress inning. Imo id rather have a pitcher like soco then what seems like a double mop up role of lyons and bowman.

I don't know if you're kidding or not. I assume the plan is to keep him on the roster for the entire season and then send him to Memphis where they can figure out whether he's more suited to start or pitch out of the bullpen.
You can make an argument Lyons has been their second-best relief pitcher so far.
