Re: 7/3 GC

The Brewers appear to have called it a day.
They have to play in Washington tomorrow at 11 am, local time. Good scheduling.

Yeah, put Piscotty in the same class with Diaz. He knows how to play and he's fun to watch.

Three batters later and the tying run is in the hole. Unbelievable.

Re: 7/3 GC

Jason Heyward is hitting .231/.321/.320. This post will probably get him going, but good for him. He wanted to play in a situation where he could just kind of hang out in the back and get paid like a superstar and it worked out. Maybe he would've been just as terrible if he stayed with the Cardinals, though.

The incredible thing is they were going to bring him in when it still was 4-2.

Or the exposure to green fecal algae is starting to make him delirious.

The good news is the Fort Morgan bacteria readings are fine. Wesley is just a goof.

The Rosenthal experiment needs to move to Memphis. There is absolutely no reason Milwaukee should be a hit away from bringing up the tying run.

Or his contract will be Theo's Alfonso Soriano mistake and a few years from now with his team in the throes of a 100-loss season, Epstein will have to dump him for 15 cents on the dollar because the loyal and die-hard Cubs' fans who touted his defection from the Cardinals are now making death threats toward him.

One of the national news stations aired a segment last night that included an interview with a gulf coast business owner who said the algae will almost certainly impact the tourism profits she expected from the long holiday weekend.

It seems like it's more Florda's problem than Alabama's--at least for now. We were down at the beach today, and it doesn't appear any of us are glowing yet. On the other hand, Madison may have been stung by a jellyfish.

We're going to check out Fort Morgan tomorrow, and I suspect any swimming we do will be in a pool.

It appears to be worst in Florida. Does Madison know the best cure for a jellyfish sting?

She does now.

So I'm used to cooking for Bob, but I'm not used to cooking for 2 sixteen year olds. It's like a competition. Tonight I cooked burgers and brats. I thought the hamburger packages had 6 patties per package, but it turned out they had 8. I cooked 10 brats and 16 hamburgers for me, Michele, the 2 girls, Bob and Wesley. Madison and Hanna had 1 brat each. I think Michele had a burger and a brat. I had 2 burgers and a brat. That leaves 13 burgers and 6 brats. Michele just put away the leftovers--1 brat and 5 burgers. I swear, every time one of them grabbed something, the other felt compelled to do so as well.

We spent $400 on groceries for 5 days. I'm starting to wonder if we'll have enough food.
