Not that this puts him in Cy Young contention or anything, but Wainwright's ERA is now below 4.50. By today's standards, that's the equivalent of a quality start every time on the mound. Considering how poorly he began the season, that's a nice recovery.

I don't know if we're ever going to see the pre-Achilles Wainwright again, but the version we've been getting lately is fine by anyone's standards.
