I can't believe the punter complained about having to play outside. Bud Grant would have slapped the kid.
Did anyone else think Jaworski and Gruden were going to cry when Farvre had to leave the game?

I LOVE it! I remember the days when the Vikings were the only team in the NFL that did not provide heated benches, and the weather was a factor. I had forgotten how much it has changed the game to remove the weather.
And FWIW, I was wondering why I didn't see Fran Tarkenton among the 50 greatest Vikings (did I just miss him?). But if he wasn't there, perhaps the reason has something to do with the fact that he is SEVENTY years old. Damn how the years have slipped away.
