Out of sheer curiosity, I went through all of this year's box scores. Coming into tonight, the Cardinals had scored in 2 or fewer innings in 19 of 44 games. I didnt go back and count the innings, but I would be willing to bet the Cardinals are at or near the top of number of scoreless innings on offense. They're doing nothing to dispel that notion tonight.

Seems like the pattern is scoring 1 to 3 runs per game each month, except when they have their monthly one game blowout of 10 - 13 runs . Wash , rinse , repeat.
Mo put this together. Connie Mack couldn't survive this crap .
