Anyone else think there's something wrong with Ozuna's throwing arm? On that double, he lobbed the ball to DeJong, who had come halfway out to the fence.
It's openly acknowledged here in St. Louis that his throwing arm is injured, a condition he apparently brought with him from Miami and that he dealt with in 2017. It obviously doesn't affect his bat, but his ability to throw is limited.
Didnt he win a gold glove last year?
Yes. I'm not sure it was an issue all year, but it apparently was an issue at the end of the season. It's been a topic of discussion for the past 4-5 days.

I don't. I wouldn't risk his arm this early even if it means losing the game.

Starts with Lyons. He was supposed to get through the 8th
I agree with Artie though. I wouldn’t have pitched Hicks a third night in a row either.

I'm trying to remember the last time I felt good about a Cardinals' relief pitcher in the ninth inning. Maybe Todd Worrell? Bruce Sutter?

Feel bad for Flaherty.

That was Mags.
I don't know much about Leone, but he didn't look the same after he humped up on those two fastballs to Cain.

My mistake. Not an ideal situation, but I would’ve had Norris up. At least he has closer experience.

Agree, wasnt thinking this would have been his third night at time of post. Guess the issue then goes to why was he used yesterday with a 4 run lead.
