4/26

Nice day for a game, but the park is empty. Hopefully Uncle Bill takes notice.

Have you seen the "crowds" in Cincinnati this week? They're more aptly described as a "small group."

It's filled in some, but I doubt there's 25,000 people in the stadium

FoxSportsGo is about 15 seconds behind the real thing.  I'm hearing cheers before anything is happening on my screen.

Re: 4/26

Maybe launch angle isn't Carpenter's problem.

Yeah, if I stand up and walk in front of my desk. We all have 2 monitors now, so it’s easier just to put the game on one monitor and work on the other.

I've referred to Greensfelder's proximity to the ballpark so many times over the past dozen years that any time it is shown on the TV and my wife and/or my son is in the room, one of them says "See that building? Dad's friend works there."
Did I mention when it comes to garnering respect in my house I'm somewhere after the dog and before the guinea pig?

Re: 4/26

Hey look, games not over.  Guess they were waiting for me to have time to watch them lose.

I’m not sure what the life expectancy of a guinea pig is, but they’ve broken ground on phase 2 of BPV. In 2-3 years, there will be a high rise apartment that blocks my view and you’ll no longer be able to see our building. If the guinea pig is still around, I hope that won’t hurt your standing.

The guinea pig is mentally-retarded. I'm not making that up. My wife and son saw her in the pet store about six years ago and she was free because the previous owner had returned her. When they saw that, it was over. We already had a cage from the previous guinea pig, so they brought her home. The first guinea pig was great. He'd sit on your lap for an hour and let you pet him. This one is fucked in the head. If you put her in your lap, she pees on your leg and/or runs up your arm and bites your ear. When her cage needs to be cleaned, you have to use gloves to pick her up because she'll bite your hand. When she's hungry, which is all the time, she chews on the bars of her cage and it makes a racket. You giver her a handful of lettuce, she scarfs it down and then she's back to chewing on her cage. Even the dog looks at her like, "This chick ain't right in the head."
