"maybe the Pats will start throwing to my #1 draft pick and let him score some more runs."
There's a theory that the Brady threw to Moss too much yesterday to keep him from spouting off to the media again.

That's comical. Does anyone remember Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne complaining that he wasn't getting the ball enough? I know when the Rams had Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt, there never was an issue.
Must be nice to not have to worry about placating a "pre-Madonna."

I didn't see any with no clothes.
Sorry Max. I'll edit it to read "pose with hardly any clothes."

25-22 in an ugly, but exciting affair in SF. Saints by 3 .

And, more importantly, Smell the Glove holds off the Aaron Miles Express.

The Saints are half the team there record says they are. I hate them.

I'm pretty upset that Brees didn't go Hasselbeck on the Whiners. And Michael Crabtree is not working out. I need someone who doesn't have Alex Smith throwing to him.

LOL! Well, I dont think you're going to have to worry about that, I need 30 points from Reggie Bush and Garrett Hartley
I was actually starting to worry. At least until Bush broke his leg.
Is that a bad injury for a RB?

SF gave the Saints most of their points. I have never seen a snap miss the QB by 10 feet.

I'd probably start to feel sorry for a team called the Athol Marauders, if I hadn't already been to Athol. Remember that scene from "Deliverance" with the inbred redneck kid with no eyebrows playing the banjo in the Georgia swamp? That's the place the privileged people from Athol spend their summer vacations.

Maybe I'm just imagining things, but the NFL-media complex is really rooting hard for Alex Smith to succeed.

And speaking of the Complex, I read an article that said the NFL is expecting 20 percent of the games this season to be blacked out. Apparently, they've done such a good job with the presentation on TV that nobody wants to actually go to the game. Duh. Why would you want to pay hundreds of dollars to sit in a dull atmosphere with TV timeouts every five minutes when you can lay on your couch and watch multiple games? Because of the area I'm in, I get two CBS channels (one from St. Louis and the other from Jeff City) and can watch Chiefs games. Every Sunday I can watch three games in the afternoon. Sorry, NFL, but when you offer me that, I'm not going to the game.

I will watch a bad NFL matchup before I would go through the effort of getting tickets. Because even if the game sucks I can stick drink beer and eat chips. In no way shape or form is my mind going to think that because a game is balcked out I will get tickets instead.

There's nothing like attending an NFL game in a good atmosphere. The EJ Dome is one of the worst places ever to watch a football game. Not sure if you've been following all of the McKernan material from the last couple of weeks, but he's spot on. If you stand at the Ed, you're virtually assured of having some blue hair tell you to sit down. My boss, who's a perfect example of the idiots who inhabit the Ed used to come to the office and complain about the noise.
Here's a hint folks--it's football. It's a violent, rowdy, obnoxious game that tends to attract violent, rowdy, obnoxious fans. Whether you tailgate and get drunk before the game, or simply show up to root for the home team, there's a direct benefit to the home team by being loud. If football is too noisy, go to a golf course.

Yeah, The Ed's pretty horrible, but it seems like every stadium other than KC, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago or Green Bay has a dull vibe to it.

I think you deserve a written letter of apology from Roger Goodell.

Ehh...football's football. And watching the Chiefs (usually) lose is a good deal of fun.

True, but how the hell did they beat the Chargers two weeks ago?
I'm tellin' ya, the AFC West is there for the taking. Maybe even at 8-8.

Javier Arenas, Jamaal Charles and Dexter McCluster.
Seriously, how many games do teams win when their quarterback throws for 68 yards? Matt Cassel is awful.

My football season is going very well to this point both in college (university of oregon ducks are current ranked #5), and the pro's (dolphins somehow beat minnesota... in minnesota).
Jets up next for us, in miami, without revis. I don't think we're a lock, or even favorites, but the odds are as good as they can get.
In fantasy, I'm 2-0 and owning this league! Bring it!
PS. I wondered where the !@#$ you guys went.

that was damned clever on your part to get 45 points out your defense and TE, combined, and beat me by 5.

I hate the WR position. It is a crapshoot to figure out who is going to have a good week.

Pretty much.
