Wonder if Hall of Phamer will complain about hitting seventh.

When does Scooter Gennett fail his PED test?

How come Edmonds can figure out what Pham is doing wrong at the plate by watching two at bats and no one in the dugout has been able to figure it out in two months?

I'm assuming Bader catches that.

I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that Edmonds can figure out what pitch to call and Molina can't.

Maybe. But height could have been a factor. Martinez may have actually been closer to catching it than many other guys would have been.

I'm really amazed that Harvey has been able to keep his cool with the way the umpire has been fucking him over. It may be the worst I've seen on one pitcher this entire season.

Is it time to get a new manager when the team has lost the ablity to beat the reds?

The Reds have a better record over the past 75 games than the Cardinals do. Not really much of a feat, but if you throw out their 3-15 start, they're over .500.
You could hear the sarcasm in McLaughlin's voice last night about how the Reds have more All-Stars than the Cardinals, but other than Mikolas, who really deserves to go?

Was the plate umpire filling in for someone on vacation? He had a high number (74?) and I didn't recognize his name. He was awful.

I know it makes me a bad fan, but part of me wants to see them get swept by the Reds, fall to .500 and have to stew over it during the All-Star break.
With all the crap swirling around the team, there is also a growing level of discontent around fans. Why go watch a team that plays poor fundamental baseball, sleep walks through games, sit in 90+ degree weather and spend an insane amount of money to do it.
There’s a good chance Busch will be near empty in August. Yeah, they’ve sold the tickets already, but if no one goes through the doors and no one goes to BPV, it’s going to get their attention. It also probably isn’t helping that the Blues are getting a lot of love locally and nationally for their off-season, while the Cardinals are viewed as cheap and stale.

If your a bad fan then im a bad fan. Admittedly i dont gonto games. I find it to be a hassle. This year i have watched very few as the season has progressed. I still follow the team closely but it is the teams responsibility to keep me interested. Why would i stay up or delegate my friday mow friday evening to watching the cardinals lose to a last place team?
Im in the same boat as you. Them losing is probably best for the team. They need to shed half the roster and coaching staff. They wont do that if they end up a .600 team.
