1.) I'm glad Twitter and Facebook weren't around when I was a senior in high school.

4.) I can't speak for other parts of the country, but the terms "fag" and "gay" do not always have literal connotations for people who grow up in New England. "Fag" is more commonly used as a synonym for "wimp" or "coward," as in "Are you going to drink that shot of tequila or are you going to be a fag?" "Gay" has the same type of connotation, as in "Don't be gay. Drink that shot of tequila."  I've probably used those words in those contexts on this board. I intend to stop immediately.

Idk in the midwest it seems calling someone gay or a fag is on the same level or worst then calling them a cocksucker.  Of course context is important.

BTW, AP, in the South and Southwest, cocksucker has long had a connotation different from that which it had in other parts of the country -- particularly the northeast.  Of course, back 50 years or more, the paractice of oral sex on either gener was not quite as acceptable as it has become today (especially since Michael Douglas went public and the Clinton administration appended).

I just assumed that was another legal term with which I am unfamiliar.

If I had included it in article or a brief, there is a good chance it would become one with every law clerk that ran across it pretending that he knows what I meant.
